Art for fun day 2, commission collection and putting prints into picture mounts

Another very hot day with lots of shop ventilation. Again I stayed in the shop, drank lots of water and stayed hydrated.

Art for fun – .so a friend came during her day off to do some Art for fun. Amazing drawing skills based on a picture on her phone. A. coped well when I didn’t have pencils for initial line work as I work straight in pen. It was great watching how she added more and more detail, quite honestly humbled to watch.

I was commissioned on Saturday and then added to on Sunday to do two postcard sized art postcards. These were collected today and a great success which is always to hear from your client.

More card sales today and also I put about 20 art pieces into mount sets that was quite tiring. Later in the afternoon I did a video interview with Chris of Planet Purbeck as I shall be offering Art for fun as an activity in the September festival which also overlaps with me doing the same for Purbeck Art Weeks too.

A productive shop day and some good chats today.
