Deliveries and delivering

So the shop was to be shut today but an order I paid for slower delivery option being delivered next day ie today so sat in shop from 10 until 2, but did sell a print while there so can’t complain – luckily neighbour took in after I had gone.

On way to flat met Mark from Parcelforce and considered taking parcel early but too large so collected from van outside about 10 minutes later.

Then it was a drive to Upwey and my printers to collect some cards for me – a tale as supply chain issue with 7 x 5 envelopes and fine art papers this week and then this morning the printer head jammed at printers too. Anyway collected my newest cards and work for three other Swanage area artists. Tried to deliver in Kingston, where we used to live on the edge of, on return journey but no one in.

Dropped off all the pieces from Upwey to the shop on the way home ready for artists to collect from me on Saturday, which is when I found out that Les opposite had taken in my paper bags delivery for me this afternoon – I do love our community and how we look out for each other, especially as we only met a week ago,

So with art chair and flag for shop deliveries yesterday I am now supplied with items to help out with the shop, presenting work, giving customers a Kraft paper bag for cards where needed.

So a good day if somewhat busier than envisaged originally inc two hours of driving through wet and Misty Dorset countryside.
