Inktober day 4 and a drawing left to find
So a lazy day start for me as not working Mondays at least until half term at the end of the month. The prompt for Inktober today is “knot” so I did a reef knot, but drawing and working out which rope lies above or beneath the other was fun.

Later after a walk on the seafront and listening in to different geography field trips talks and looking towards the north end of the bay.

We headed back, collected something from the studio / shop and then a drink and cake at Java Independent Coffee House. I drew a sketch like I used to do with lots of detail, took a photo for my own reference and then left it for a finder on the table with Free to finder written on the reverse side – I used to do this when I was starting off in Swanage and it’s something I haven’t done in a while and it felt good, hopefully someone likes it.

I was reading some comments on Inktober earlier today and they made the point about spending time and enjoying the process rather than the outcome – just as I try to with art for fun offering. I also did some work last night on trying to close The Courtyard Studio Trip Advisor account and opening a new one for the new shop as the name no longer exists and is not valid.
