It’s Tuesday so it must be a shop day

One small blip on the horizon today, the outer fringes of Storm Barras will be flying through with strong winds and some heavy rain. He early decision was made, today I would work inside the shop, however the flimsy signs went out weighed down by the Art for fun plank and the flag supported by the gates at the end of the road.

To be honest a day where I might see some friends if in my neck of the woods but unlikely that many would be about or that I would get any customers – just being realistic.

Sprint tide meant high after this morning, lucky the wind wasn’t from the east

I had a letter or two to written following some phone calls last night. One was written then distractions kicked in and I productively made three video clips today to market the shop.

The first was a shop tour.

Shop tour – Dec 2021

Then two product clips

Printed postcards @£0.50 each

Christmas cards £2 each or 3 for £5

The weather then intruded and made itself noticeable.

And then it rained …

Later I submitted information linked to my own mental health as an example of an entrepreneur who has overcome their disability.

Email I have responded to

Finally I fitted in some drawing based on a photo from our Kingston Lacey trip last week.

Sketch started

Also my one customer of the day who rang earlier and I was able to give directions to. A recipient of my Santa through Durdle Door card a couple of years ago and wanted some to send herself – 30 cards, as many as I sold on Saturday. A very positive sale.
