After a good night of rest today was a get some fresh air and take the day sensibly kind of day.
This morning we headed over to Studland for a walk in the bay. Parking at Knoll beach we had lunch at the cafe and I did my first sketch on a napkin for a long while, I was going to leave it on table top but then gifted it to a member of staff.

A good long walk down the the end of the training bank on the south side of the channel into Poole harbour. We saw 5 RM boats in formation, fishing boats, sailing yachts, a couple of all weather lifeboats,I suspect on training from the RNLI college and in Studland bay itself a reasonably large motor yacht at about 27m. Big but for the fact yesterday evening an 87m superyacht had been moored here before heading off for Guernsey today.
As we returned to Knill beach a group of canoeists arrived, we assume from Swanage and a few people were trying swimming in the bay but not staying in long.
Home via the chemists to pick up a prescription and some afternoon rest. After dinner this evening we were off to the Mowlem theatre for tonight’s dress rehearsal for Snow White – the Panto and this time I was well enough.
My first time doing such a thing. It all went well and I now have an additional role as scene shifter just into the second act as tree mover, there is only two of us so we can’t be tree fellas.
I did a drawing while sat backstage, I think to some amazement by others around me, but drawing is what I do, and even attempted people. I will be drawing during each performance when not on stage so potentially 7 more to do. I will post them here as they are an exercise for me and a very good distraction.
