A very quiet day
Yes, back at the shop, very quiet although some came to the door to say hello including a lady whose granddaughter had previously enjoyed art for fun. So no sales. Today was better than Wednesday as I felt better.
I completed an 8 x 4 piece based on my previous two recent paddleboarder pieces and I now have a drawing fit for a greetings card – that can be organised post pantomime. I identified that two of my other drawings would also make cards worth trying out – kayaking as a square 6 x 6 and sailing 7 x 5.
I also sketched a piece including Corfe Castle and a train in the foreground. The castle went well but perspective and scaling of the train carriage was incorrect and not centred enough. I know trains are hard to do but I will keep trying from time to time.
Otherwise, choosing pictures to work on in the future and some cloud management. Some chatting with friends.
