More linocut time today

So the first linocut product for 2022 – ‘Kayaker’ as a greetings card. I have made the decision that I will hand print at the studio all pieces I produce this year and that each design will be produced as a limited edition. The first card (above) is a series of 100 and the first five have been reserved already.

The beach marker post will be a three colour print in red, black and blue and I will be testing it tomorrow. Along with with other freehand cut this afternoon of Corfe Castle.

The new front window display includes my test print for Celebration of drystone walls – for that to be printed I need to experiment with paper pre soaking and blotting times and it’s target release is probably Purbeck Art Weeks as one of my Rollington pieces.

Also some art for fun today, now up to 252 takers. A few card sales too.
