Ongoing developments
I am sat in a fairly quiet town, people unsure whether to carry on or mourn for the Queen who died yesterday.
I am at the studio / shop. I have worked outdoors and indoors today as light showers come and go. Changing some of the display in the shop and considering how I should change the layout for ‘art for fun’ indoors as we get less clement weather.
This week I have had three commissions awaiting collection or client approval. Those pieces remain private to their recipients. In addition I have produced a new piece based on the paddle steamer Waverley arriving at Swanage Pier last Sunday to collect passengers. Very please with the sense of expectation he piece conveys – prints and cards will becoming as for the pebbles piece I now drew a few weeks ago.
A changed shop window

Going forwards in September and into theAutumn a printer visit is needed to take newer pieces, and restock cards and prints which are running low on stock after sales in the last quarter and preparation for C…….. word ahead.
How much the economic situation will affect sales I will have to see and gauge as it happens but I want to keep trading, let’s see what happens.
