Post Christmas
So the week up to Christmas Eve saw 24 people take part in Art for Fun at the shop which was very welcome. I continue to work on one of four extra end panels for my section of the Flooding Swanage with Art project as the blocks on my section have been turned end on to the sea. My other panels will be cut in half in all cases except the rowing one which won’t work. In total I will have drawn 16.45 x 0.75 metres of art – a clear new personal record and not one I am likely to try and beat anytime soon.
Plans this week and in to January 2024 include:
– completion of four new end panels for flood blocks
– lead art tour walk on Wednesday January 24th
– complete my own canvas depicting the impact of Storm Ciaran in October on my flood panel art section.
– complete my entry for Purbeck Art Weeks 2024 where my exhibiting focus will be at Rollington again. The shop will be open on its usual days too, I will not be doing additional pop up studio sessions at Rollington as I offered in 2023 as the take up was so poor.
– I am going to be investigating a redesign of my space in the shop by investing in some new storage and display furniture that allows easy movement of units, wheel based furniture to allow units to be moved easily to allow access to heater and / or work on larger pieces / art for fun stations.
– starting to try techniques and ideas outwith Lino prints and maybe sharing a display of what I am doing but not looking to develop workforce sale to begin with.

… oh yes and continue to add my portfolio of work to AndyKnillArt.com so it can be viewed in one location online.
So taking it fairly casually as usual!?!
