Introduction to Art range
I had a rethink and rebranded at the shop as I am seeing the impact of economic downturn more and more, offer to no sales on some days. I shared this post on local business group and also my own accounts today.
I have two philosophies that govern my business. They are – #ArtForAll and #ArtForFun.
The first is that anyone should have access to owning some art and I have rebranded my items with this in mind as my ‘Intoduction to Art’ range. Printed items from £0.50 to £2.00. Original art from £3 to £10.
The second is my free activity for all ages (age range currently 11 weeks to 100 years 7 months) to try drawing and use the same markers that I produce my paper based art with.

Yes, I sell other, more expensive items, but I want to get people into the shop first and know how preciously purchases of smaller items has brought customers back previously to buy more or even commission work.
The Introduction range is far cheaper than other artists locally but of course it all depends on people liking my art in the first place. A word that I am hearing more frequently by first time visitors and not necessarily customers is “different” which I can’t and would argue with.
