So, August 1 chapter 7 of my art career started I was going to be moving to a shop on my own. The job at hand was to make people aware of the project and start marketing and publicity. It has been a busy four weeks and tomorrow Wednesday September 1st Chapter 7 comes to fruition as ‘AndyKnillArt Studio’ opens its door to the public at 10 am.
I have posted a myriad of posts on social media, written a number of blog posts both on this blog but also on Mishmashlearning… my original personal blog. Last night I effectively took profile images off my old shop accounts but have kept them open as many business cards went out earlier this year linked to that account name and I want to recapture those visitors and customers if they revisit the town especially.
I am very pleased with how much I have learnt since November 2019 when The Courtyard Studio opened, I have been putting this into practice and now I am confident that many people know about the new shop. The truth of the matter starts tomorrow.
I don’t feel under pressure, I do feel that I can start to re enjoy the experience of having a studio and shop where I can encourage anyone to have a go at art for fun.
