A day of progressing
Today saw:
Shop front progress
The rotten ledge was replaced, new upper opening windows. This overran the time slot as the ledge / sill was harder than expected. I had moved the shop stock away from the window yesterday afternoon and this afternoon I got to reset the shop to its former position.

Art piece progress
My new ‘Autumn trees’ piece made progress where I started the needle / leaf coverage of he conifer. I started with a layer of Umber and then added Holly to achieve a deeper green – something I had learnt previously – remembering that my colour combining is achieved mainly through research and trial and error,
