Hello blog I am back, Easter Sunday

So, regular readers sorry about that I tuned out for a bit. Chest infection got the better of me and my creativity. I closed the shop for a week and retuned on Wednesday April 13th.

In three shop sessions where I have sat out each day I have had the opportunity to welcome 37 art for fun participants including three young girls who became between them the 300th customer with prize which allowed them to select a card each.

On Saturday five adults sat and drew, one a graduate and MA in various art disciplines. I have been blessed this week with great conversations. I have sold prints, original postcards and cards. My design for the local RNLI shop seasonal card has gone off for approval – the privilege of being selected for a second year to draw for them.

I have completed my pier lights panorama. Started a new hat and today I got to sketch for fun. A new cafe drawn in ‘Studio South’ in Swanage and a celebration of the licence at ‘Down the Beach’. The Kraft paper sketch pad allows me to use fineliners and the white gel pen.

I have also received a donation of art tools including ProMarkers from a private donor who admired the fact that I was using my ProMarker collection for others to use for free and was very taken by the art for fun concept. in fact their daughter on a previous visit had made the same observation. It is so gratifying hat others see why I offer the art for fun activity.
