Never an easy month as autumnal weather moves in and we have had stormier weather and rain. Each week now is a mystery as to how many visitors / customers I will see.
On Tuesday I was in the shop as the weather meant it as far too wet to be outside and I had no sales. On Wednesday and a Friday I got to sit outside for most of the day and this attracts discussion with passers by and visitors into the shop. This week that meant I saw sales of 38 cards and 4 prints – a wonderful surprise. I also worked on two small pet commissions – only the second time I have been asked to draw dogs and the client and I were very pleased with the results and they await collection.
On Saturday again stuck indoors I as inspired to start a new Christmas card design. By 2pm I almost packed up for the day as I had seen no one, when a ProMarker linked visit followed by two walkers who were taking the train / bus back to Corfe bought a print.<div class='sharedaddy sd-block sd-like jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper jetpack-likes-widget-unloaded' id='like-post-wrapper-123416164-8537-63879dff303fa' data-src='https://widgets.wp.com/likes/#blog_id=123416164&post_id=8537&origin=andyknillart.com&obj_id=123416164-8537-63879dff303fa' data-name='like-post-frame-123416164-8537-63879dff303fa' data-title='Like or Reblog'><h3 class="sd-title">Like this:</h3><div class='likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder' style='height: 55px;'><span class='button'><span>Like</span></span> <span class="loading">Loading...</span></div><span class='sd-text-color'></span><a class='sd-link-color'></a></div>
